This was taken at the Henryton Center, an old abandoned mental asylum. It is a huge complex, and there are rumors that it is haunted. It stands over the oldest functioning railway tunnel in America, which unfortunately I didn't get any shots of (forgot my tripod and it was dark).

I usually don't use a tripod. Great shot, I like it.

Thanks very much, I am glad you like it :)

I use a tripod at night, it is necessary for long exposures on dark days to avoid blur from camera shake. But it is a hassle to carry around.

Thanks man. I think it's the dark doorways and windows that make it have that feeling. Not sure though.
